NG City guides: Italy pt1 Rome

October 26, 2016

“You may have the universe if i have Italy” Giuseppe Verde once said and i completely agree. Italy will always be my favorite place in the world. I love the culture, the food, the vibe. There is so much beauty and so much to see.

Summer of 2015 we decided to visit the Amalfi coast with a 3 day stop in Rome on our way there. So here is a mini journal/guide to our favorite places to stay, eat and explore the cities.

Rome

Stay: Intercontinental De La Ville

We absolutely loved this Hotel mainly because you can’t beat the location right on the Spanish steps and a walking distance from Via Condotti which is the upscale shopping area. The hotel’s terrace also has one of the best views of the city and the rooms are some of the most spacious you can find as well. Our suite had a beautiful terrace with stunning city views that we almost felt like we wanted to stay there our entire trip.

See: Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Roman Forum, The Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona.

Right after checking into our hotel, we went to explore the city. Here on the Spanish steps
